Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about garments and requirements
- Attending scheduled fittings
- Communicating preferences and concerns clearly
- Providing garments in appropriate condition for work
Service Process
Services begin with consultation and assessment. Approach and methods are discussed and agreed upon. Work proceeds according to agreed approach. Clients are informed of progress and any issues that arise.
Payment
Payment terms are discussed during consultation. Payment is typically due upon completion and approval of work. Specific terms may vary by project.
Limitations
While we work to provide quality services, results depend on garment condition, fabric properties, and construction constraints. We do not guarantee specific outcomes but work to achieve agreed objectives within material and structural limitations.
Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. However, we do not guarantee that alterations or custom work will achieve specific aesthetic results beyond what is agreed during consultation. Results depend on garment condition, fabric properties, and construction constraints.
We are not responsible for damage to garments that occurs due to pre-existing conditions, fabric deterioration, or improper care after work completion. Clients are advised to inform us of any known issues with garments before work begins.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. In cases where work does not meet agreed specifications due to our error, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the work at no additional charge.
Clients are responsible for ensuring garments are in appropriate condition for the requested work. We reserve the right to decline work on garments that are in poor condition or where requested alterations may compromise garment integrity.
Intellectual Property
Patterns, designs, and construction methods developed during custom work remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed. Clients may not reproduce or share patterns or construction details without permission.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to clients through our website or direct communication.
